RIGTEK COMPUTER AIDED DESIGN SERVICES (RIGTEK PH) is a design and consultancy company that specializes in entertainment rigging. In the entertainment industry, rigging involves hanging lights, videos, speakers, props, and even people while making sure that everything is safely secured using steel wires, hoists, slings, or other rigging accessories. RIGTEK PH does the planning, CAD drawings, load calculations, implementation, supervision, and inspection to make sure that shows are safe and suspended loads are within the venue’s allowable load capacity.
The company started in 2022 when shows came back after the pandemic. The owner, Red Valdez, had been doing rigging consultancy prior to the pandemic. He has been involved many big local and international shows in the Philippines since year 2007. Seeing all the advancements of shows for more than a decade, He realizes the need for a specialized rigging consultancy that will focus mainly on the technical and mathematical side of rigging as shows are just getting bigger, heavier, and more complicated due to the advances in technology. Thus, RIGTEK PH was born.
